Up Up and Away Travel

I have been in the travel industry now for over 15 years in many different roles.  I started as a broker and owner/operator then taking 4 years away from the industry to fulfill a lifelong dream of mine where I was the Executive Director of 2 year-round kids camps and conference facilities in Manitoba and PEI respectfully. 

Upon my return into the travel industry in 2007 I worked in the Travel Insurance side of the business and advancing my career quickly to the position of National Client Manager where my main responsibility was overseeing all the travel insurance sales for many clients, primarily Flight Centre.  It was an amazing 5-year span that I learned and loved this amazing company whose main goal is to “Open up the world for those that want to see it”.  With its roots in Australia, Flight Centre is a global company all around the world and a leader in the travel industry. 

It only made sense when I made the decision to want to help people with their own travel arrangements and plan incredible memories for them that Flight Centre’s home-based agent division was an easy choice.  I own my own travel business and have the extreme privilege of partnering with an incredible organization.  I love the flexibility and work at home environment I am able to have.  As a dad of 4 amazing kids that are very active in sports and with their friends, not having a Monday – Friday 9 am – 5 pm job allows me to be there for them at their games or to get them around where they need to go.  I could not be happier.

I have been able to see many parts of the world with my career including Mexico, Turks & Caicos, Jamaica, Dominican Republic, Hong Kong, Singapore, United Kingdom, along with many US states and every province here in Canada. 

I enjoy sports and spending time with my children in my spare time.  I love baseball and have been to 28 different Major League Baseball parks.
