We just spent a fantastic long weekend in Whistler.
 
With the new construction of the Sea to Sky Highway flying up to Whistler from the Lower Mainland is a great getaway from the city & offers so many things to do.  Whistler features 2 ski mountains, 4 golf courses, 200 shops, 90 restaurants & bars, hiking trails, kayaking, white water rafting, spa’s & the best mountain bike park in the world to name a few activities to consider.
 
We stayed right in Whistler at the Crystal Lodge overlooking the village stroll.  We are not a skiing family so while the slopes were busy with skiers taking advantage of the beautiful weather we headed to monkey around at TAG Treetop Adventure Course - a series of suspended obstacle games that increase in challenge, height, and fun across four course sections of ladders, cargo nets, rope swings, tightropes, swinging logs, wobbly bridges, and other aerial surprises.  TAG also offers SuperFly Zip Lines & in my opinion the best ziplining with paragliding harnesses making it more comfortable while you are soaring above Cougar Mountain & the Whistler Valley.
 
After our fun filled day at Treetop Adventures we needed some down time!  So we took advantage of the Climb & Dine Program for kids at the Core fitness centre located right in the village.  We dropped our daughter off at 6pm for 3hrs of supervised indoor climbing & the best pizza in Whistler while she had a great time with other kids we headed up Scandinave Spa for a couple of hours in the amazing Scandinavian style baths where you leave feeling energised & relaxed.
