Welcome to my web site
I have worked as a travel consultant since 1995. I am also a Registered Nurse with 40 years experience. I work to make holidays for all clients, especially special needs, as comfortable and enjoyable as possible. You may even see me packing a tape measure to make sure doorways, steps, washrooms and beaches are accessible for everyone.
In this computer- friendly environment, it is often challenging to present the benefits of using a travel agent. Usually, once travelers run into problems, they seek out a licensed travel agent. I am pleased to work with Flight Centre Associates, as they are members of TICO, CLIA and ACTA. These organizations protect the traveler from fraud, misrepresentation and tour operator bankruptcies.
I am well known in my community and am often asked to speak regarding women’s travel issues, safety in travel, and how to pack for a holiday. I offer suggestions to custom fit the vacation to the person.
It is also important to keep up with the newest travel legislation, and I have completed and passed both the TICO Travel Counsellor and Supervisor/Manager exams. I have traveled extensively to the Caribbean, and did additional training in Cuba. I am a certified travel agent for Cuba, Mexico, Hawaii and Disney. I have completed three courses of Cruise and Travel University.
Working as a home-based agent, allows me the freedom to meet with clients in their homes, deliver their tickets, and have greater flexibility in my working hours.
